What we record
Today
Sweep is a free skill game. It is not directed at children. This notice covers the site as it works today: no accounts, no ads, no shop.
What the host records
The site runs on Vercel. Web Analytics counts page views (which path, rough region, device class). Speed Insights records how fast the page felt. Both are cookieless. They do not know your name or email. We do not sell that data.
Taps inside the game (blasts, share, save) stay on your device except the anonymous daily clear and the optional board ping described below. They are not sent to a named dashboard. A hidden catalog-verify badge may load a small image from PixelPicked so they can confirm this site.
Anonymous daily clears
After you finish today's board, the game may send a start token and a clear time to our servers. That is a duration and a UTC date — not your name, not the share URL, not a ghost you typed in the address bar. The recap can show how many people cleared that day and how fast the fastest tenth was. Times are dropped after a few weeks. Rate limits use a short hash of network address; that hash is not shown on the recap.
Opt-in today’s board ping
After a daily clear you can ask for a once-a-day ping when the next board exists. That uses the browser's notification permission and a push subscription for this device — not your name, not email, not a friend graph. We store the subscription endpoint, keys, and a timezone so we can skip 21:00–08:00 local. Copy is “today's board is up,” never a streak nag. Tap the control again to stop; the subscription is dropped. iPhone needs Sweep on the Home Screen. Times are dropped after a few months if unused.
What you choose to share
A result link can include a time or wave count for that board. After a daily clear, the server may also attach a short signature so the paste can show as a Run instead of a Dare. Anyone with the link can play it. Editing the time in the address bar drops the signature. Guest settings, if any, stay in your browser.
Data requests
Questions about this notice, or a request about data, go to the company inbox: ShoesOffHoldings@gmail.com. How that mailbox works is on Contact.
Ads, accounts, or a shop will get a new notice before they go live — and a way to refuse non-essential tracking where the law requires it.
